MGG Academy 2025 in a nutshell
What is the MGG Academy?
The MGG Academy is a training and dialogue format that brings together early to mid-career professionals from six global powers (Brazil, China, India, Indonesia, Mexico, South Africa) and the European Union.
The participants work in government institutions, research institutions and think tanks, civil society and the private sector. The overall purpose of the format is to support the development of future change makers that are dedicated to jointly address global challenges.
How long, when and where?
The MGG Academy is a full time programme that takes place from 4 September to 23 November 2025 in Bonn, Germany. It is implemented by the German Institute for Development and Sustainability (IDOS) and funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development.
Content
The MGG Academy combines academic modules on developing solutions for pressing global challenges with leadership modules to enhance personal and social competencies and action-oriented workshops and project work.
